Dear Hostfamily,
At first I want to thank you for giving me a home for one year and for being a part of your family. I am glad to lean much about your country and your culture.
My name is Viktoria and I am sixteen years old. Icome from the northwest of Germany and I live with my parents and my three sisters in a town called Bochum which is lose to Düsseldorf. There I was born on January 21th, 1992.
My mother, Brigitta, and I have always fun and we do a lot of activities together, for example watching a movie or going shopping.
My father, Detlef, works as a senior account manager at the German firm of Fujitsu Siemens computers, and therefore I don't see him as often as my mother.
One of my three sister's is Christina, we just call her Chris. She spends very much time with her friends and does lots of activities with them.
My others sister's name is Patrizia and we get on with each other very well. Her favourite hobby is doing sports.
My last sister's name is Johanna and she is the wildest of us. She loves to play football and is outside as often as possible.
I go to Theodor-Körner-School and I am in grade eleven at the moment. My favourite subjects are P.E. and English. I like going to school,because most of my teachers are friendly and motivated and, of course, I meet all my friends there.
I enjoy to do all kinds of sports. I also like to listen to music or meet my friends and have fun with them. I am interested in different cultures an I think I am open-minded. It is one of my biggest dreams to live in an American family for one year. Because of this I am really happy to live with you. I want to see a lot of countries and learn a lot about cultures and languages, but above all I want to explore the American Way of Life. I try to show you a bit of German culture, too.
